Rheinmetall Electronics UK has been selected as a member of the Omnia Training consortium to support the British Army’s Army Collective Training System (ACTS) under the Collective Training Transformation Programme (CTTP).
Led by Raytheon UK as the prime contractor, the Omnia Training consortium brings together leading industry partners to deliver a next-generation collective training capability. As the Land Collective Training Partner, Rheinmetall will support the design and delivery of key elements of the programme.
Rheinmetall’s share of the programme is valued at just under €1 billion. Operational implementation will begin in summer 2026, with the service contract running for 15 years. The programme will also enable the company to expand its facilities, workforce and industrial capabilities across the United Kingdom.
The long-term programme is also expected to deliver significant industrial benefits across the United Kingdom. Rheinmetall will create skilled jobs at its sites on the Isle of Wight, Southampton, Bristol and Warminster, strengthening its local industrial footprint while supporting the British Army’s future training requirements.
Under the programme, Omnia Training will deliver modern live, virtual and constructive simulation systems. Rheinmetall will support these capabilities by managing physical training infrastructure, system configuration and logistical support, helping modernise the Army’s collective training environment.
The UK remains one of Rheinmetall’s key strategic markets in Europe. In addition to Rheinmetall Electronics UK, Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land plays a significant role in the British Army’s platform modernisation programmes. This strong local presence ensures seamless support for the armed forces and strengthens Rheinmetall’s long-term industrial partnership with the United Kingdom.
