Embraer (NYSE: ERJ / B3: EMBRJ3) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 S.A. (WZL-2), a leading Polish aerospace maintenance company and a key entity within Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ), to advance industrial cooperation in Poland.
Under the agreement, Embraer and WZL-2 will jointly develop a comprehensive framework for future collaboration covering services and support, aircraft completion and conversion, including external painting and system integration. The partnership will strengthen long-term cooperation on the KC-390 Millennium and its support ecosystem.
The signing ceremony took place at Embraer facilities, with the participation of Mr. Piotr Zawieja, Member of the Management Board of PGZ, Mr. Marcio Monteiro, Chief Marketing Officer of Embraer Defense & Security, and Mr. Douglas Lobo, Vice-President, Customer Support & Aftermarket Sales, Embraer Services & Support.

We believe that combining Embraer’s experience with WZL-2 capabilities will bring tangible benefits for the Polish Armed Forces and the entire Polish defense industry.”

The KC-390 Millennium is a next-generation multi-mission military transport aircraft capable of carrying up to 26 tons of payload, flying at speeds up to 470 knots, and performing a wide range of missions, including cargo and troop transport, airdrops, medical evacuation, search and rescue, firefighting, and humanitarian operations.
In addition to the Brazilian Air Force, the aircraft has been selected by multiple air forces, including Portugal, Hungary, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, Slovakia, and Lithuania, highlighting its growing global adoption and operational versatility.
