Hical Technologies welcomed Tobias Gotthardt, Vice Minister at the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, to its Electronic City facility in Bengaluru to discuss manufacturing excellence, innovation and opportunities to strengthen aerospace and defence collaboration between India and Bavaria.

The visit highlighted Hical’s precision electromechanical manufacturing capabilities for global aerospace and defence platforms. Tobias Gotthardt toured the company’s production facility, design centre and research centre, gaining first-hand insight into its engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities.
It further follows Managing Director Yashas Jaiveer’s participation in the India–Germany Defence Industry Roundtable in Munich in April 2026, where Hical represented India’s aerospace and defence manufacturing sector.
“It has been a privilege to visit Hical in Bengaluru and see first-hand the company’s impressive production capabilities, design strength and research excellence. Bavaria and India share a long-standing, active partnership built on trust, innovation and open cooperation. As space, aerospace and defence become increasingly strategic sectors, we see significant opportunity to deepen collaboration, strengthen resilient supply chains and build new bridges between Bavarian and Indian industry in a spirit of free and fair trade,” said Tobias Gotthardt, Vice Minister, Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.
Speaking on the occasion, Yashas Jaiveer, Managing Director, Hical Technologies, stated, “Hosting the Hon’ble Vice Minister at our facility is a moment of significant pride, not just for Hical but also for India’s aerospace manufacturing community. Earlier this year, I had the privilege of participating in the India–Germany Defence Industry Roundtable in Munich alongside senior industry and government stakeholders from both countries. Today’s visit by Mr. Gotthardt brings that dialogue to our shopfloor, where the real work happens. We believe that India’s aerospace credibility is built one qualified component, one rigorous audit, and one trusted partnership at a time, and we are committed to being the kind of supplier that global OEMs, including those in Bavaria, can rely on for the long term.”
