Airbus has finalised a contract for the purchase of 10 H125 helicopters by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations (CBP AMO). The aircraft will support law enforcement, border security, and public safety missions across the United States.
“The expansion of this H125 fleet underscores the long-standing collaboration between Airbus and U.S. Customs and Border Protection,” said Bart Reijnen, Head of the North America Region for Airbus Helicopters. “This selection highlights the trust placed in the H125 to perform critical public safety missions under demanding conditions. Airbus remains committed to supporting the agency with reliable aircraft and comprehensive services to ensure continuous mission readiness.”
The H125 light enforcement helicopter is designed for airborne law enforcement operations, offering multi-mission flexibility, low operating costs, and reliable performance in demanding environments.
Manufactured at Airbus’ facility in Columbus, Mississippi, the H125 features a dual-channel full authority digital engine control (FADEC), engine data recorder, and dual hydraulic flight control system to enhance safety and reduce pilot workload during tactical operations.
The H125 is a leading light single-engine helicopter globally. This new acquisition will further strengthen CBP AMO’s operational capabilities and advance its fleet modernisation goals.
