Fursan Al Emarat, the United Arab Emirates National Aerobatics Team, is set to deliver a headline flying display at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, reinforcing the event’s global aviation showcase. The team will arrive in Farnborough, Hampshire, on 11 July ahead of validation flights for the show, scheduled from 20–24 July 2026.

Established in 2008 and composed of elite pilots from the UAE Air Force and Air Defence, Fursan Al Emarat is renowned for its precision aerobatics performed by seven aircraft—symbolising the UAE’s seven emirates. The team’s distinctive black and gold aircraft, combined with smoke trails reflecting the UAE flag, have made it a standout performer on the international airshow circuit since its debut in 2011.

The announcement forms part of the second wave of aircraft and aerial display teams confirmed for the Farnborough flying programme. Additional highlights include the Joint Aviation Command’s Chinook role demonstration, the British Army Air Corps display featuring Apache and Wildcat helicopters, and the British Army Parachute Display Team, the Red Devils.

The static display lineup has also been expanded, showcasing a broad spectrum of aviation capabilities across commercial, military and emerging platforms. New additions include the Textron Cessna SkyCourier, Bell Helicopters’ 505, 407 and MV-75 models, and a HÜRJET mock-up from Turkish Aerospace, highlighting next-generation training and combat aviation developments.

Farnborough International Airshow 2026 will bring together global leaders from the aerospace, defence and space sectors for five days of flying displays, exhibitions, and major industry announcements. The event remains a key platform for unveiling cutting-edge technologies and fostering international collaboration.

The final day of the airshow will feature “Pioneers of Tomorrow,” a dedicated public programme focused on STEM and career opportunities, aimed at inspiring the next generation of aerospace professionals. Further aircraft and display announcements are expected in the lead-up to the event, building anticipation for one of the industry’s most prominent global gatherings.
