Embraer has announced that its Praetor 500E business jet has achieved triple certification from Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), marking its readiness for operations across key global markets.
Introduced in February 2026 alongside the Praetor 600E, the Praetor 500E represents the latest evolution of Embraer’s Praetor family. The certification follows the Praetor 600E’s approval earlier this year and underscores the company’s continued momentum in the midsize and super-midsize business jet segment.

“The Praetor 500E builds on the strengths of the Praetor platform, a category leader in performance and technology, now enhanced with a next-generation cabin experience,” said Michael Amalfitano, President and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets. “Achieving triple certification ahead of schedule and on spec is a strong testament to our engineering excellence, enterprise efficiency, and disciplined execution. With this impressive milestone, we are well positioned to produce this aircraft for customers worldwide. We remain focused on delivering the ultimate experience to our customers and look forward to continuing the strong market reception the Praetor 500E has already received alongside the Praetor 600E.”
The aircraft offers a transcontinental range of 3,340 nautical miles (6,186 km), enabling nonstop routes across North America, including Miami–Seattle and Los Angeles–New York, with four passengers and NBAA IFR reserves. It also features increased payload capacity and a redesigned cabin equipped with new Embraer seating, an advanced Cabin Management System (CMS), and enhanced connectivity and comfort features.
The Praetor 500E integrates Embraer’s advanced avionics suite, including full fly-by-wire technology with active turbulence reduction, the Enhanced Vision System (E2VS), and the Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System (ROAAS). These technologies improve situational awareness, reduce pilot workload, and enhance operational flexibility across a wider range of airports.
With its combination of performance, advanced systems, and cabin innovation, the Praetor 500E strengthens Embraer’s position in the global business aviation market.
