Israeli defense companies participating in Eurosatory 2026 have drawn strong international interest, attracting numerous official delegations and sustained visitor engagement despite restrictions imposed by the French government.

Throughout the exhibition, Israeli booths received visits from representatives of defence ministries, armed forces, security organisations, and industry players. Discussions centred on advanced technologies, collaboration opportunities, and defence partnerships.
The high level of engagement occurred despite France’s decision to ban an official Israeli national pavilion, prohibit the participation of official representatives, and restrict the display of Israeli defence products. Nevertheless, international delegations actively sought out Israeli companies, holding meetings and exploring cooperation opportunities across multiple domains.

“Despite the restrictions imposed on Israeli defense companies and the arbitrary blocking of some of them, the Israeli pavilions drew very active foot traffic throughout the exhibition. During the course of the show, senior officials, chiefs of staff, generals, and defense ministers from various countries visited the Israeli pavilions, expressed their support, and showed keen interest in Israeli technologies. Numerous meetings were held with industry representatives and senior officials from various countries, aimed at advancing and preserving these relationships,” said Col. Sagi Fink, Defense and Military Attaché of Israel to France.
The strong turnout highlights Israel’s position as a leading global provider of defence technologies, with systems widely deployed by armed forces, security agencies, and emergency services worldwide. The continued demand underscores the operational relevance, reliability, and innovation associated with Israeli defence solutions.
The engagement also aligns with the Israel Ministry of Defence’s broader strategy to expand defence exports, strengthen strategic partnerships, support force modernisation, and reinforce the country’s defence industrial and technological base.
