Brazilian company brings high technology to the leading global sector fair
Atech, an Embraer Group Company, will showcase its portfolio of defense and security solutions, as well as demonstrate its expertise in the development and integration of complex naval systems at Euronaval 2024. The fair, considered one of the most significant in the segment worldwide, will take place from November 4 to 7 in Paris Nord, Villepinte (France).
Atech is one of the few Brazilian companies present at Euronaval. It is recognized and certified as a Strategic Defense Company (EED) by the Brazilian Ministry of Defense, with over 40 years of experience developing technologies for various national and international projects.
These technologies are well-established in strategic projects of Brazilian Navy, making Atech an important player for new partnerships both within and outside the country. The high-technology solutions are employed in major Brazilian Navy programs, such as the PFCT (Tamandaré Class Frigate Program), LABGENE (Nuclear Power Generation Laboratory), and the H225M/H-XBR helicopters (Naval Tactical Data Management System).
In all the programs mentioned, Atech plays a key role by providing innovative solutions for the development and integration of complex naval systems. For the frigates, that includes the CMS (Combat Management System) and the IPMS (Integrated Platform Management System). In the PFCT, Atech participates in the noble mission of protecting Blue Amazon resources, a 5.7 million km² area of waters under Brazilian jurisdiction. The company is part of the SPC (Special Purpose Company) “Águas Azuis,” which also includes thyssenkrupp Marine Systems and Embraer Defense & Security. This program involves the production of modern ships with high technological complexity and significant combat power. The first frigate was launched in August of this year and is expected to be delivered to the Brazilian Navy in 2025.
Atech is present with its solutions in South America, India and North Africa. The Brazilian company has well-established expertise to expand further and support other nations in coastal and border surveillance and vessel traffic management solutions, among other types of projects, through cooperation initiatives.
Constantly pursuing innovation, Atech has been developing and implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and tools across various sectors. These include Simulation Systems (replace human pilots in simulator controls, interacting via voice); Air Traffic Flow Management Systems (using machine learning for 4D trajectory prediction); Naval Wargame Systems; Cybersecurity Systems; and other initiatives. Atech’s approach to AI is focused on meeting client needs, making its solutions more effective and precise.
“With a visionary and forward-looking approach, we create innovative solutions that ensure the successful execution of Atech’s projects. Our strong presence in both domestic and international markets reinforces the trust in the quality and expertise of the services we provide,” says Rodrigo Pérsico, CEO of Atech.
At Euronaval, Atech will be at booth I42. The organization expects 500 exhibitors from at least 30 countries. The estimated audience is 25,000 people, and 150 official delegations have been invited to attend the event.
