Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd., (GRSE), a Mini Ratna Category 1 Defence PSU and a leading warship building company of India, has paid an interim dividend of Rs. 56.70 Crores for FY 2021-22 to its shareholders. The Interim Dividend Cheque amounting to Rs. 42,24,39,138/- as the government’s share was handed over to Defence Miister Rajnath Singh, by Cmde P R Hari, IN (Retd), Chairman & Managing Director (Officiating) of GRSE Ltd. at New Delhi in the presence of Dr Ajay Kumar, Defence Secretary, Sanjay Jaju, Additional Secretary (Defence Production), Surendra Prasad Yadav, Joint Secretary (Naval System) and RK Dash, Director (Finance), GRSE.
GRSE has declared an interim dividend of Rs. 4.95 per equity share of Rs.10 for FY 21-22 against Rs.3.85 in FY 20-21, reflecting a remarkable increase of 28.57 %. GRSE has been consistent in paying dividend to the Shareholders and has done so every year for the last 28 years. The company has strong order book position of Rs 24,605 Cr. as on 31 Dec 21.
