Initiative aims to strengthen connection with the European market and expand international business opportunities

CSD – Components and Defense Systems has taken another strategic step in its international expansion journey. Already well-established in Brazil, the company announced the inauguration of a commercial office in Poland, underscoring its commitment to strengthening its presence in the European defense market.
The new office will be led by a local executive, a decision that highlights CSD’s strategy of building closer ties with partners and clients in the region, while tailoring its operations to the specific demands of the European market.
“Since its foundation, CSD has always focused on the international market, exporting products from Brazil. Europe is a region that aligns closely with our product portfolio,” explained the company’s CEO, Nelson Hübner Junior.
The executive emphasized that Poland was chosen because of its solid outlook for defense investments in the coming years, with significant allocation relative to GDP. “We held several discussions with potential Polish partners, and for that reason we are establishing our commercial office there,” he added.
Expansion
With the opening of the office in Poland, CSD anticipates growth in international sales, consolidating its portfolio among European customers and even developing new products. “By expanding our business in this market, we will gain a deeper understanding of local needs and adapt ourselves to this reality,” noted Hübner.
Poland will also serve as a gateway for creating business opportunities with other European countries. The company plays an important role in the production of aviation bombs, such as the MK 80 series, mortar ammunition (60, 81, and 120 mm), 155 mm artillery rounds, and rockets, as well as surveillance and loitering drones, also known as kamikaze drones.
Through this initiative, the company seeks to broaden its presence, strengthen strategic relationships, and explore new opportunities across the continent, reinforcing its prominent position in the defense sector.
