
Turkish Aerospace and BAE Systems have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
to establish a strategic alliance to explore opportunities to collaborate on the development of
uncrewed air systems (UAS).
The agreement will see experts from Turkish Aerospace, Türkiye’s leading aerospace and
defence company work with BAE Systems’ combat air experts, work together to explore
common opportunities on uncrewed systems.

Dave Holmes, Managing Director, BAE Systems FalconWorks, said: “We see this as the
start of a deep and meaningful alliance between our two organisations, each bringing
complementary skills and capabilities to the table and a strong portfolio of uncrewed assets
which we can leverage and combine to create a range of compelling and cost-effective
solutions.”
Mehmet Demiroğlu, CEO of Turkish Aerospace, said: “With long experience in merging and
integrating the capabilities of local and global companies, Turkish Aerospace is now
exploring the opportunity to cooperate with BAE Systems in order to bring the already
proven capabilities of uncrewed systems to new heights. We would like to jointly approach to
accelerate progress, to investigate further opportunities of market accessed and to explore
cooperation opportunities regarding uncrewed technologies.”
