Defence Industry Spotlight on Belgrade as PARTNER 2025 Opens

The 12th edition of the International Armament and Military Equipment Exhibition – PARTNER 2025 has officially opened at the Belgrade Fair, reaffirming its role as one of Southeast Europe’s most significant defence industry events. Held biennially under the auspices of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, PARTNER brings together leading global and regional players in the arms and defence sector.

This year’s exhibition once again highlights the event’s primary objective: the presentation of advanced weapons, military systems, and defence technologies “from all sides of the world.” On display are complex artillery and missile systems, combat armoured vehicles, small arms and ammunition, electronic equipment, radars, simulators, ballistic protection systems, lightweight aircraft, and patrol boats.

A Platform for Global Defence Dialogue

The exhibition traditionally attracts high-ranking military and government delegations from across the globe, alongside representatives from NATO, the European Defence Agency, and other international military and security organizations. For manufacturers and suppliers, PARTNER 2025 offers a prime opportunity to showcase innovations, build new partnerships, and reinforce existing collaborations in both the South-East European and global defence markets. This year, the event features the participation of more than 200 companies from various countries, underlining its growing international significance.

Backed by Serbia’s Defence Institutions

Sponsored by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, the exhibition also serves a dual purpose: to present the research, development, experimental, repair, and educational capabilities of Serbian defence institutions, while showcasing the operational needs of the Serbian Armed Forces. This dual focus ensures the active participation of domestic industry leaders, agencies, and foreign exhibitors interested in scientific, technical, and commercial cooperation.

The traditional co-organizer, Yugoimport-SDPR J.P., once again plays a central role. As a regional leader in defence production, integration, and promotion, and a key supplier to Serbia’s Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Interior, Yugoimport brings its reputation as one of the most prominent arms dealers on the global stage.

A Premier Defence Industry Venue

The Belgrade Fair, with its eight decades of experience and a 100,000 m² exhibition space, continues to provide the ideal venue for an event of this scale and prestige. Its facilities and organizational expertise ensure that PARTNER maintains its standing as a world-class exhibition platform for the arms and defence sector.

Looking Ahead

Beyond its business significance, PARTNER 2025 also carries a strong promotional dimension, opening its doors to media and the wider public. Visitors can expect to see a showcase of state-of-the-art weaponry, innovative systems, and next-generation defence technologies, underscoring the exhibition’s growing role in both regional and international defence cooperation.

As PARTNER 2025 unfolds, it not only reinforces Belgrade’s position as a hub for defence industry dialogue but also highlights the dynamic and evolving nature of the global defence market.
