ELT Group, a prominent player in the defense and aerospace sector, has solidified its commitment to Saudi Arabia by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Investment (MISA) and the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI). The agreement, signed in a significant ceremony, reflects the deepening relationship between Italy and Saudi Arabia and aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.
The MoU was formalized in the presence of notable figures, including ELT Group’s President and CEO Enzo Benigni, Saudi Minister of Investment HE Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, and Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Athel, Deputy Governor of GAMI. Also present were Lorenzo Benigni, Senior VP of Institutional Relations, and Paolo Izzo, Senior VP of Global Sales at ELT Group.
This strategic agreement marks a new chapter in ELT Group’s long-standing partnership with Saudi Arabia. The MoU focuses on enhancing collaboration in the aerospace and defense sectors, with an emphasis on training and the development of a domestic supply chain. The initiative is designed to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by fostering local capabilities and contributing to the Kingdom’s defense industry growth.
ELT Group’s commitment to Saudi Arabia is further evidenced by the recent establishment of Elettronica for Industries LLC, a Saudi-law company dedicated to localizing logistic support and expanding the entire value chain within the Kingdom.
With 70 years of expertise in managing the electromagnetic spectrum and developing electronic defense systems across naval, air, land, cyber, and space domains, ELT Group is poised to play a pivotal role in Saudi Arabia’s defense sector development.
