Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2022 has confirmed that Sanad Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company and a global aerospace engineering and leasing solutions leader, with more than three decades of industrial services experience, will champion the UAE capital’s credentials as a global aviation centre of excellence at this year’s Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2022.
With more than three decades of experience in commercial aviation, engine MRO services and aviation leasing, Sanad, a trusted partner of global original engine manufacturers including Rolls-Royce, GE Aviation, and Pratt & Whitney, has partnered with Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2022 to further enhance the event’s standing on the global aerospace map.
During the Expo, Sanad executives will join key panel discussions addressing critical industry topics, including MROs and Air Traffic Management & Airport Security. “With a name deriving from the Arabic word for support, Sanad supports its industry where and when it matters most,” said Didier Mary, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Air Expo. “As a globally renowned entity contributing to Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading global aerospace and aviation hub, we’re honoured to have Sanad partner Abu Dhabi Air Expo as a key sponsor.”
Now in its 10th year, the Expo has evolved from a dedicated business and general aviation exhibition to a must-attend industry event showcasing the full spectrum of Middle Eastern civil aviation.
“Our involvement in this year’s Abu Dhabi Air Expo stems from our strong belief in Abu Dhabi’s growing contribution and influence on the global aviation landscape. Sanad has a long-standing history of forging meaningful international partnerships to provide airlines and OEMs with unmatched industrial services from Abu Dhabi. We look forward to accelerating Abu Dhabi Air Expo’s role as a global platform for forward-thinking dialogue, networking and business discussions that will further the sector’s ongoing growth locally and globally.” said Mansoor Janahi, Group CEO of Sanad.
Air Expo 2022 is a unique platform that brings together aerospace industry leaders and professionals with aviation enthusiasts, customers and students to network, exchange ideas and showcase the latest thinking, technology and equipment in general aviation. The 80,000 square metre exhibition is expected to attract 18,000 visitors and host more than 300 manufacturers and suppliers.
The three-day Air Expo event will feature the latest innovations in private jet aircraft, aircraft engines, helicopters, executive charter services, airport equipment and services, avionics systems, insurance and financing. Over 100 aircraft, from ultra-light to heavy business jets, will be on display for delegates seeking various aircraft and aviation-related services. This year’s event will include a new format that divides the exhibition into three main areas: aircraft hangar, chalets and outdoor static display.
