WDS: Alsalam Highlights its Advancement into Aerospace Manufacturing

The World Defense Show 2022 (WDS) for the military industry is being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 6-9 March, and Alsalam is exhibiting at the show.

The participation comes in line with the development of the company in its technical capabilities in recent years and its entry into manufacturing.

Alsalam is highlighting its advancement into aerospace manufacturing and the company’s contribution to the industrial developments and Saudisation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in line with the ambitions set in Saudi Vision 2030.

Commenting on WDS, Alsalam’s President & CEO, Mr. Abdulmohsen M. Jonaid, said, “Our participation reflects our commitment to contribute to realising the ambitions of the Saudi Vision 2030.” “Alsalam will be showcasing the Kingdom’s advancements in the aerospace industry at the World Defense Show and will display its latest developments and achievements in providing integrated services for the maintenance, upgrade and modification of military, commercial and VIP aircraft”.

He said WDS will witness a number of government military and security agencies, Saudi companies such as the Saudi Arabian Military Industries, the General Authority for Military Industries and major international companies in the security and defence industry participating in the Show and brings together key players in the aerospace industry from across the world and offers an opportunity to exchange experiences and strike deals.

The company has come a long way since it was established in 1988 and today, as a part of its strategy to expand the aerospace sector in the Kingdom, Alsalam manufactures major assemblies and spare parts for military aircraft as well as spares for commercial aircraft.
